| You can help the victims of countless crises, like the earthquakes in Chile and Haiti, around the world each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross International Response Fund, which will provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need. The American Red Cross honors donor intent. If you wish to designate your donation to a specific disaster, please do so at the time of your donation by mailing your donation with the designation to the American Red Cross, 1450 11th St. Santa Monica, CA 90401

| Ride for the Red |
| Bike ride from Calgary, Canada to Santa Monica in September. Sponsored by Miss Canada and Santa Monica Red Cross volunteer, Abelle Avanti. Abelle and her crew of athletes and celebrities will hit the road 9AM Sunday morning The ride is scheduled to take the team through major cities; Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, and then onto their destination in Santa Monica no later than October 31st, 2010.
Avanti hopes to raise a minimum of one million dollars for each of the organizations. The ride is not only a great way to raise funds, but also bring awareness to what the Red Cross does as an organization.
